ABOUT US

Dr David Lakisa

Dr David Lakisa's PhD and Masters research focussed on the intersections of Pacific culture and workplace diversity management (University of Technology Sydney Business School) and International Sport Management (Southern Cross University). He is of Samoan (Polynesian) descent and has worked across private and public sectors of workplace training, education and sport for the past two decades. In short, he possesses a unique blend of personal and professional experiences. David was the inaugural Pacific Islander Coaching and Development officer at New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL), a former health and physical education teacher and sessional academic at Western Sydney University in the School of Education (2008 - 2016).
